Happy Monday TC Readers! A couple of big releases this weekend at the theaters, as well as some more news regarding Star Wars VII! Let’s jump straight into a quick glance at last week’s movie news!
In case you missed it:
Jurassic Park makes its return to the big screen and in 3D this summer! Universal released the movie poster as well as a trailer to welcome it back to theaters on April 5, 2013! Check out the trailer here!
A trailer for the movie adaptation of World War Z finally hit the internet last week to less than favorable impressions. Personally it seems as though the only thing the movie borrows from the book is its name! It seems like it could be a cool movie but I don’t have high hopes for it being a faithful adaption of Max Brook’s awesome book, World War Z.
Star Wars news has been steadily coming down the pipe ever since Disney made it public that they had acquired Lucasfilms. The biggest news of all is that Michael Arndt (Toy Story 3, Little Miss Sunshine) has written the screenplay for Star Wars VII! Although I haven’t seen Little Miss Sunshine, I have seen Toy Story 3 which is my favorite of the trilogy. For more information click here! (Logo mockup credit goes to Reddit user Filmeiker!)
